Retreat Centres

Within easy access of Camden there are a number of Retreat Centres and Centres for Spirituality offering talks, workshops and the opportunity to reflect and be still.
Several of these centres have roots in a particular denomination but are currently run ecumenically with speakers, workshop leaders, spiritual directors and prayer guides, drawn from varied Christian traditions and their doors are open to all.

Guy Chester Centre: Programme includes quiet days (10am – 4pm. £25 inc lunch) and weekend retreats.

London Centre for Spirituality St Edmund the King, Lombard St EC3V 9EA
Programme includes workshops, guided prayer and training in spiritual direction.
There are also Julian Groups for silent meditation, Sanctuary Days when the centre is kept silent, Broadening Vision - a monthly supper club exploring aspects of spirituality and the arts. They can help people wishing to find a spiritual director and there is a bookshop open 10 - 6 weekdays (+ mail order).
