Occasional series of discussions at Bloomsbury Central Baptist Church. This spring they were Questioning Worship.
Exploring Christianity Tuesday lunchtimes February/March and October/November.
1.15 - 2pm at St Pancras Church. Short introduction and discussion exploring some aspect of Christianity within the given theme for the Spring or Autumn sessions. All welcome of any faith or none. Sessions are usually led by the Vicar or another member of the clergy.
6 - 12 or so people attend ranging from retired parishioners to people from various Christian denominations who work in the area and come in their lunch hour when they can. October & November 2009 What Is The Church For? Local people talk about their work and the issues raised by their work. 6 Oct Sam Hopley: the Holy Cross Centre – advice and support for homeless people 13 Oct Br Michael Newman: Euston Square Olallo House – working for the poor 20 Oct Revd Paul Hawkins: St Pancras - being a parish church in Euston/Kings Cross 27 Oct The Revd Jenny Welsh: Anglican Chaplain to UCL – student chaplaincy 3 Nov Helen and Amy: Women@thewell – support for vulnerable women 10 Nov Revd Jonathan Barker: St Pancras International Station – chaplaincy to staff & travellers 17 Nov Sister Gloria: Consolata Sisters – working in prisons 24 Nov Tim Robertson: Chief Executive of the Koestler Trust – art in prisons Lectures last around 15 minutes followed by 10 minutes of Q & A.

Cycle of 6 core sessions repeated through the year. Can join any Monday except Bank Holidays 6.30 for 7 – 9.15pm Friends House, 173 Euston Road NW1 opposite Euston Station.

Wednesdays 7pm at Bloomsbury Central Baptist Church Xchange is one of a variety of activities that all ages can participate in and has a Bible study and discussion focus.
