Contemplative Prayer
In the style of Julian meetings - short piece of music, short reading and 20-30 minutes silence concluding with the Grace and another short piece of music.

A group meets at St Mary's Primrose Hill NW3 every 2 months
on a Sunday at 6pm. 

There is now also a group at St Peter's Belsize Park
alternate months Sunday 6.30pm.

There is also a Julian Group which meets in members' homes in the Belsize Park area.

Christian Meditation Group
Tuesdays 7pm at St James, NW6.
1/2hr silent prayer followed by Bible Study at 7.30pm 

Silent Meditation every Thursday 6.30pm at Trinity URC.
A short introduction and 20 minutes of quiet sitting.
All welcome.

Tues 7.30pm: Charismatic Prayer Group, St Joseph's.
Wed 8pm: Meditation (beginners), St Joseph's.
Fri 12.30-1pm: Christian Meditation, United Reformed Church,
Pond Square Chapel.

Fri 8pm: Christian Meditation, St Joseph's.
All welcome at any of these groups.

Westminster Centre for Spirituality
Meetings mostly in the  Hinsley Room, Morpeth Terrace, 
access between main doors of Westminster Cathedral and the bookshop.
Fee may be asked for some events but usually donation welcome.


First Wednesday Quiet Day
Take time out to explore your spiritual journey between 12 noon and 4.30pm.
At 12 noon there will an input on prayer and at 12.30pm we will have 20 minutes silent meditation. At 2pm and 3.30pm there will be a short input and guidance on prayer, then time for reflection and sharing. During the day there will be an opportunity to talk one to one with an experienced prayer guide. These days are free of charge and open to anyone of faith and none.

4 August. Blessed are the Merciful
Led by Fr. Alan McLean, parish priest in Southwark diocese.

1 September. Praying with St. Augustine
Led by Margaret Lane,lay contemplative.

6 October. Praying with St. Benedict
Led by Fr. Robin Burgess,Ealing Abbey, spiritual director.

3 November. Blessed are those who Mourn
Led by Mary Lean,spiritual director.

1 December. Nativity
Led by Jill Benet, coordinator CO UK.

Christian Meditation Group
The group meets every Monday evening (except Bank holidays) in the Hinsley Room.
This is an opportunity to renew one's prayer life following the tradition of the desert fathers,rediscovered by the Benedictine monk, John Main. Each session lasts about an hour, beginning with a short talk and leading to 25 minutes of silent prayer.

Lunchtime Meditation takes place Monday to Friday,12.30 to 1pm, in the little chapel in St. Paul's Bookshop, next to the Cathedral in the piazza.
There will be an introductory programme of six weeks, for anyone interested in this form of prayer, every lent and advent. For further information please ring 020 7231 6278.
