Lent Study Groups
Some Churches run their own Lent study courses which may not be specifically ecumenical but may be open to friends and neighbours as well as Parishioners.

Kings Cross Ecumenical Fellowship Lent Bible Study and Discussion Course

Wednesdays 16 March – 13 April 10.45 for 11am at Lumen URC (except 1st session)
16/3 “Order and Disorder” with Fr Christopher Cawrse from Holy Cross Church – this session will be at the Consolata Missionary Sisters, 11 Regent Square, a few doors east of Lumen.
23/3 “Self and Other” with Pastor Ulrich Lincoln from St Mary’s Lutheran Church.
30/3 “Unity and Separation” with Rev. Barry Jones from the United Reformed Church.
6/4 “Speaking and Listening” with Rev. Pippa Turner from Royal Medical & Veterinary Colleges.
13/4 “Woundedness and Healing” with Sr Camilla from Women at the Well.

Gospel Oak Methodist Church invites fellow Christians to join them for a Lent Course
focussing on characters in the Passion story at 7.30pm on Wednesdays 16 March – 13 April.
Each meeting, led by the minister, the Rev Alan Haine, will be self-contained and everyone is welcome to attend any or all of the meetings.

St Martin’s Vicar’s Road 5 week Lent Course Weds 3pm from 16/3 & Thurs 7pm from 17/3.

Great Events, Deep Meanings
Mondays 7.30pm at St Saviour’s and Tuesdays 8pm at St Peter’s
6 weeks from week beginning 7 March i.e. before Ash Wednesday.
The course focuses on some of the most significant days in the Christian year and considers their implications for us as individual believers and Christian communities.
The sessions cover Christmas, Lent, Palm Sunday & Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Easter, Pentecost.
