Lent Study Groups
Some Churches run their own Lent study courses which may not be specifically ecumenical but may be open to friends and neighbours as well as Parishioners.
NB Individual session of these study groups do not appear in the calendar.
Churches Together in Hampstead Lent Groups
Starting the week of 22 February for five weeks
Except at Emmanuel Church, the theme this year will be “People on the edge of His Pain” (based on the CTBI material – see below), exploring characters involved in the Lord's Passion.
• Mondays 1pm and 8pm in NW11 and 7.45 for 8pm in NW3
• Wednesdays 3pm at St. Andrew's United Reformed Church
• Thursdays 2pm in NW3 NB: This group meets on a regular basis throughout the year.
and Thursdays 7.30pm at Heath Street Baptist Church
• Fridays 8pm at St. John-at-Hampstead Vicarage
and Wednesdays 8pm at Emmanuel Vicarage “Living Christianity – every day bread”,
a course which looks at discipleship through the lens of the Eucharist

Churches Together in Highgate Lent Groups
10 groups at various times & venues each following one of 5 courses:
• The Things He Said – The Story of the First Easter Day, by Stephen Cottrell
• When I survey… Christ’s Cross and ours (York Course 2010)
• Erasmus & Luther: Discourse on Free Will (Lenten book group)
• Teach Us To Pray: The Lord’s Prayer.
• Transformative Diocese of London Lent Course on the outworking of the Eucharist.

Course on Christian discipleship covering vision, stewardship, Christianity at work, passing on our values to our children, and transforming worship into service.

St Pancras Parish Church, Euston Rd, lunchtime Lent course open to anyone in the area.
Tuesdays from 23 February to 23 March 1.15 - 2pm
'A Bit like Jesus,' based on the Lent book by Robin Gill (SPCK) which focuses particularly on the healing stories and parables of Jesus.
The Ecumenical Bible Study Group at Trinity will be meeting Tuesdays 7.30pm
to study the book of Jeremiah over 6 weeks 23 February – 30 March.
Kings Cross Churches are meeting for 11am start Weds 17 February to 24 March at Lumen.
