and events during Christian Aid Week.

 Events included:
• Sat 9 May from 10.30am at Gospel Oak Methodist Church
Coffee Morning + bring & buy stall.
• Sun 10 May, as part of morning worship Gospel Oak Methodist Church,
the Fleet Singers performed their contribution to the
BBC Radio 3 Mendelssohn Weekend.
This was followed by a simple lunch with contributions to Christian Aid.
• Sat 16 May 10.30am – 12.30 at Trinity URC
Coffee Shop Fairtrade tea/coffee & homemade cakes.
There were again cards for sale and a small Traidcraft stall
which sold £45 goods and gave the £5 profits to Christian Aid.
• Sun 24 May Christian Aid walk starting from Gospel Oak Methodist Church
at 12.30pm and ending up in Finchley for a garden tea party.
Andrew Poulter led 10 people including former members of the congregation
and a Catholic from neighbouring St Dominic's on the walk across Hampstead Heath, Highgate Woods and Waterlow Park etc on a bright sunny day.

Circle the City Sunday 17 May
The annual Christian Aid sponsored walk in the City of London started with the pre-walk service 1.15pm at St Mary-le-Bow and visited another 15 or so churches on the 10k circuit.

The large contingent from St Mary's Primrose Hill decided to skip the service as it's always difficult to get round all the churches in time if you stop at any of them for the entertainment, information or refreshment provided.

Information packs available from Christian Aid London, Inter-Church House,
P.O.Box 100, London SE1 7RT. T: 020 7523 2321/2105, E: London@christian-aid.org
