Older People

Older people will of course be involved in a wide range of church activities and will often be the most active and reliable volunteers for jobs serving the church and wider community. This page features events specifically for older people and a wonderful organisation which happens to be based in a Camden Church.

PSALM
Project for Seniors And Lifelong Ministry for those who take ageing and faith seriously...

PSALM provides lectures, workshops and seminars with the specific aim of addressing matters of interest and concern to people over 60, or those approaching retirement, or anyone with an interest in ageing and spirituality. PSALM is an ecumenical Christian organisation with people from different Christian denominations on the executive committee. Whilst events and programmes draw on insights from their Christian faith, events are open to people of all faiths or none.

PSALM is based in the Gallery at the St Pancras Church, Euston Road NW1 2BA.
While it is possible to ask for talks and workshops to be organised in your own parishes,
most, but not all, workshops take place in the Church Hall, 1 Lancing St, NW1 1NA.
They are usually 11am (coffee 10.30) - 3pm. Bring packed lunch.
£10 (£8 for PSALM members)
