Camden and City Churches Cold Weather Shelter

C4WS is a church based seasonal accommodation project providing emergency shelter for people who are homeless. The project now runs between 1st December and 31st March every year creating a ‘rolling shelter’ that provides emergency accommodation to street homeless and ‘hidden homeless’. Several Camden based churches combine their efforts at 7 different church locations to provide overnight shelter one night a week offering food and fellowship as well as shelter and practical help and advice to establish a route out of homelessness.

In addition to those hosting a night shelter, there are already other churches involved in C4WS providing volunteers, cooking meals, donating money or goods. Let us all as Christians Together in Camden, churches, groups and individuals support this project and each consider what contribution we might make.

Invitation to Service of Celebration Wed 14/4 6.30pm at St Mary's Eversholt Street NW1 1BN

See attached C4WS introduction and appeal for help with volunteers, donations and prayer. This relates to an earlier season but similar support will be needed again next winter.
