People (and churches) on the move

Lumen United Reformed Church and Community Centre
After a year of nomadic existence the congregation of Regent Square URC moved into its redeveloped building in autumn 2008. The origins of the church date back to 1808 when the Highland Society of London set up a fund to establish a Gaelic Chapel in central London.

The centre is not yet functioning fully - the community cafe has yet to open - but people from different churches and chaplaincies met there for a Lent Course and were very impressed by the potential of the new building. The church welcomed over 400 people during Open House Weekend September 2009.

Trinity URC has embarked on their search for a new minister following Maggie Hindley's departure in December.
Dr Uta Blohm was inducted as Interim Part-Time Non-Stipendiary Minister on Saturday 27th June.

Fundraising
Several Camden Churches are undergoing extensive building work or have done so recently. There's always a need to raise funds to maintain our buildings as well as our activities at home and abroad. Let us help one another & put some fun into fundraising.

See also Occasional Art, Music and Theatre as these are often in aid of church funds.
